Youth Mentor Group

Youth Referee,

We would like to introduce a new program that will benefit the youth inside our referee association.

The LBSRA Youth Mentor Group is an extension of the Cal South Youth Mentor Program. This program will be run similarly to that program. Referees would be attending meetings each month and grow as an official. They would also get special games only available to the Youth Mentor Group.

The Mentor Program is designed for youth referees as a gateway to learn, to get higher level games and to move up in referee grades. LBSRA is really excited for this program and there are countless opportunities for one to get noticed by your assignors. 

We had a great first weekend at the Cerritos Tournament, we will have our first official weekend of mentoring June 12-13th.  Look for an email soon. 

June Training schedule is:

Tuesday June 8th 6:30 to 8 PM at our normal meeting location.  The First Presbyterian Church 3955 Studebaker Road, Long Beach, CA.  Food will be provided so please be prepared to take notes.  We will be introducing a new program as well.  If you have any questions, please let us know.
